How to rent an adserver.
#1 Find an adserver.
An adserver looks like a standard adboard. You'll find tons of them lining the walls of our adcenter. Just touch them to get started and follow the instructions closely.Teleport to our adcenter ▸
#2 Pay in your budget.
Right click on your chosen adserver and select PAY from the menu. The minimum budget to start an advertisement on our network is L$1000.#3 Set your advertisement.
Once prompted ctrl-drag your sales texture notecard, landmark and optional gift onto the adserver. Please ensure that their permissions are set to atleast copy and transfer enabled.Waiting for approval
After setting your advertisement it will normally take up to 24 hours for it to be approved. Our staff have to identify adult advertisements so that they aren't displayed in pg-rated sims. As soon as your advert is approved you will receive an instant message to notify you that it is displaying in our network.
We protect against fraudulent clicks.
SecondAds has the most advanced click-fraud protection system in the whole of Second Life.
Our algorithms are extremely sensitive to click-fraud. A person repeatedly clicking a board, or using alts to do so will find that they actually give funds to the advertiser - that was nice of them!
We also have staff regularly patrolling ad venues to detect any suspicious activity or adboard placements that are unfair to advertisers.
